I was going to propose this on Linux but it just sucks on Manjaro and have to know a bit how to program in Scheme. Only got a female voice that cannot change the speed. It sticks up for several seconds too before uttering a short phrase which is not acceptable in 2023. I installed a package for over 200MB only to get that voice because I couldn't get any other English speaker, and I preferred the Spanish speaker of the "demo" on their website. They're not very good documenting their product, one just has to "know" Scheme.

Dang I miss M$ Mary after installing eJay magazineware LOL. "This song really sucks," I had "her" say in whisper which made me fall in love with that voice for about a month.
