We should probably call us "Phoenix Division" rather than "Phoenix Edition", so then we could use "Ph.D." rather than just "PE" Big Grin  Big Grin

A logo to represent all that Phoenix Edition represents!!   History at a glance!!

(Edit Changed slightly so we have the proper month on the tombstone.)

RE: New logo - draft - Pete - 07-22-2022

LOL@Ph.D. Or we could go with Phoenix Revision. That's just good PR!

and...

LOL@tombstone. Death by colascopy.

For those that don't know, Germans replace "ö" with "oe" when they don't have a keyboard with an o-umlaut, or in email addresses etc when straight ASCII is required.

I've never seen it done in reverse, though.

I think my "creation" for the forum page is still the best.  Rolleyes

The way the page is now, this dark green(?), there's something desolate about it. As if she wanted to tell the visitor: Go away, nothing is going on here!   Tongue

RE: New logo - draft - TempodiBasic - 07-23-2022

I have loosen something in translations...
QB still is QB
before time was 32 and then it became 64, in the next future it will be 128 or 256...
PE  was
Phoenix Edition because it had re-borned by its ashes
Professional Edition  because it goes on from previous QB64 last available version
Plus Enterprise because it lets add module and libraries of expert storical QB64 coders shared on this forum
Permanent Evolution because it goes through the time
so my 2 cents are a question: Is more important  defining how many byte it uses as basis or the spirit of being evolutionary?
In other words is more important the "64" of the name or the "PE" in the name?
....
only Team developers and hystorical member of the 2 previous forums (.net and .org) can have a large perspective to evaluate the differences and the importance of 64 and of PE in the name of language.

Waiting feedbacks
Good Coding
