It's a single-html file wiki that starts out at a whopping 54.5 kilobytes.
I use it for a couple of things:
- a dashboard of info that shows up when I start my web browser
- a no-fuss no-muss directory of programs I've published to the web (https://basicanywheremachine.neocities.org/sample_programs/BAM_SamplePrograms)
- a well-organised bookmarks manager
It being so diminutive, it is pretty awesome for embedding into anything, and setting it up as "view-only": go to settings, click on a check box, and save.
