Forum Upgraded - MyBB v1.8.34 Installed - grymmjack - 07-09-2023
Hello firebeards.
We've upgraded the forum from v1.8.33 to v1.8.34
All the existing modifications should remain, and in our testing it's all the same as before. e.g. qb code, qbjs embed, etc. should all continue to work the same way.
There are loads of fixes that we benefit from for v1.8.34:

Of special note are:
- Mark forum read doesn't work with php 8.0
- After upgrade to PHP 8.0: Boardstats counter of posts and threads does not increase anymore
- Allow shutdown functions to run after non-critical errors
Why are these special notes?
Because I modified the core forum source to apply these fixes myself, or had modified files, etc. Also the mark forum read fixes, I didn't fix at all, but had tried.
Anyway these official fixes are way better than the stuff I did.
Also, I have created a backup of the 1.8.33 including database.
Hopefully everything works out, but as usual if you discover any issues please let us know.

@grymmjack Here's a question for you: Is there anyway that the tags can be tweaked to include the post number as well as the topic number, when someone @ tags you?
For example: I tagged you here: https://staging.qb64phoenix.com/showthread.php?tid=1832 <-- the tid is the topic ID number.
There should be some way to include the post id number as well, such as: I tagged you here: https://staging.qb64phoenix.com/showthread.php?tid=1832&pid=17724#pid17724
You should be able to click the two links and see the difference in behavior. One simply opens a topic, the other opens the topic and navigates to the specific post in question for that topic.
