Based on what I have read I would also say that, at this point, compatibility with windows7 is compromised.
I haven't tried compiling on windows 10 yet but I assume everything will work as it should.
However, it will be necessary for you to use 3.4.0 on Windows 7 for a while.

To clarify, we have a QB64-PE developer (RhoSigma) using Windows 7 with the latest 3.4.1 and new MinGW version and it works just fine. I'm not entirely sure what the issue you're experiencing is, but QB64-PE does work on Windows 7.
