Lol, I'm getting ready right now to leave for a Christmas concert to go play this song on piano.  Going to ask the audience to be the horse whip sound and clap at the right spot.  Always loved that Leroy Anderson arrangement.  When I played trumpet in orchestras I had to do the horse sound at the end.  I never sounded too much like a horse, but sure can eat like one.
