I'm going to be 95% passive about red herring Steve raised about QBJS somehow being more JS than BASIC. This is a straw man argument for a bunch of reasons, but to name one: dbox was showing a unique ability of QBJS that is not part of the core, this was a quality of life flex. Wasn't the PE crowd just as giddy when you recently did something with fetching images using http? Hey man, sounds awfully internet-ish to me. Not very BASIC of you guys. You're just doing sour grapes though, it's fine.
The real thing I'd like answered is "can't you just swap nouns there and say all the same things about QB64's relation to C++? Why not just learn C++ then?"
Anyway, enough of that, unless there really is a good answer for the above in light of how you asses qbjs.
So NasaCow - I will start following your posts closer. In the meantime, for myself and for the audience, can you post whatever links you have to anything qb64 related? I'm pooling it all together starting now.
