If  you want a quick and simple mouse plug-in, you might want to take a look at MBS (Mouse Button Status): https://staging.qb64phoenix.com/showthread.php?tid=138  It should be able to handle most any need which you'll run across with the mouse.

This is a very good library. I incorporated many of Steve's features from this code into a project I'm working on. Simple and straightforward to use.
