In grymm's defense here, in this case, I don't even know if a staging server would've helped. The main issue I see was caused by an automatic forum update for our underlying software. Old files that had been custom changed with little tweaks like <center> or <color> tags (along with the new banner name/image), just got overwrote by default values in the update. It wasn't until we were well into adding the newest features that a740g mentioned, "Does this look different than it used to? Did a font change or something?". Until he'd pointed out what he'd noticed, we'd completely been so focused on the new stuff that we never even noticed anything off with the odd stuff.
It happens. Let me say, "Sorry," to anyone affected by the goofiness. 99% of the time, we're up and running and glitch free. If you guys want that extra 1% of perfection, you're just going to have to start paying us like that 1% crowd. Once I earn enough to perma-vacation at a tropical beach, with two sexy young beauties on my arms, I'll guarantee no more worries over forum issues. (For me, at least!)
Until then, you'll always have our 99% to fall back on. (Except on days when performance is lower than that...)
