Yes, graphic is immediate perception...
Sorry for my first perception... our Phoenix seems more a falcon or an eagle than a Phoenix

I see a long and /or large tail that mimic spirals of fire.
The same do the wings that are with fire on them.

Well in the actual icon, it seems to me that the tail  is a little short and thin (the two side parts both right both left appear like 2 claws) in the middle of 2 claws.
The mono color of Phoenix brings poorly the idea of flames and fire, if GIF lets use more colors it can be used 2-3 colors for showing flames

I like very much  QB PE  than QB64 PE just because it is clear the cut toward the last heartquake that could have been fatal to QB64 (think like when Microsoft put offout the windows number going from win95->win98->win Millennium ) and because 4 is better than 6.
Just my thoughts to be active in this fantastic community.
