Help with Help

Anyone else having problems with the Help function on the IDE?
I'm currently unable to get the alphabetical list of keywords ("Sorry an error..."). I've tried a few variations on accessing it, but the "By Usage" page seems to be the only one I can use.   Huh

I'm using QB64PE Version 3.2.0 with Linux (Q4OS) and everything is ok with HELP.
What happens, if you make "UPDATE ALL PAGES..."?

I get "Sorry, an error occurred" (every time).
It's public holiday over here in Oz, so maybe the Help function has the day off too ? (joking!)

Get out of QB64PE IDE. Delete "links.bin" found in "./internal/help" directory and fire up the IDE again, and see what happens. Make sure the QB64 directory and all other directories which are children have full read/write permissions.

It would be helpful if you write the entire error message, when I've reworked the IDE Help system I explicitly took the time to implement meaningful error messages, the "Sorry, an error occurred..." is only the headline. If you dont wanna rewrite it, then post a screenshot of it. Also what system are you using Windows/Linux/MacOS.

Deleting links.bin fixes nothing, it eventually even breaks the context specific F1 help. This file is automatically updated whenever the alphabetic index is fetched from the wiki via "Update current page" or "update all pages".

What version of QB64-PE?

And further, you get the error when?
- pressing F1 while the cursor is on a keyword
- selecting "Alphabetic Index" from the IDE Help menu
- following a link from another help page

Did you check you've any helpfiles in 'internal/help" folder? (should be 800+ files)

As a quick try please also load internal/config.ini into editor and change the protocol from https: to just plain http: in the "WikiBaseAddress" entry. Save the changes, restart the QB64 IDE and try again to use the help.

My version number is 0.8.2
Pressing f1 on a keyword says "Help is not initialised, do it now?"
When I click to initialise I get the same error message:

When I try to use any of the options presented from Help, I now get the same message ( i think yesterday I was able to access the "by usage" list).

There are 1438 files (3.12M) in the Internal/Help folder

I have no idea how to do your last instruction, about changing the protocol of config.ini
